Op. Dr. Serkan Barışkan — Rhinoplasty & ENT Surgeon
An ENT and head-neck surgeon who reads the nose as both a structure and a face — trained first in anatomy, board-certified in 2014, and focused on rhinoplasty that looks natural and breathes well.
The nose — shape and breathing, as one
Op. Dr. Serkan Barışkan is an ENT & Head-Neck surgeon who has built his practice around a single region: the nose. Rhinoplasty and the airway are treated as one problem, not two.
Because he trained in anatomy before aesthetics, every consultation begins with your own structure — how the bridge and tip sit, and how you breathe — before any technique is discussed.
A nose is not only a feature on your face — it is how you breathe.
Training and grounding
Op. Dr. Serkan Barışkan graduated from the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2009. Before specialising, he spent time in the Department of Anatomy at Pamukkale University — a grounding in structure that still shapes how he reads a face today.
He completed his specialist training in ENT & Head-Neck Surgery at Celal Bayar University in 2014. He continues to refine his technique through congresses and courses, and practises alongside his mentor, Op. Dr. Süreyya Şeneldir.
A deliberate, conservative approach
His work is measured rather than dramatic: cartilage is reshaped and supported rather than simply reduced, so a result holds its shape over the years and still reads as your own face — not a template.
Why an ENT foundation matters
The nose you see and the nose you breathe through are the same structure. A surgeon who treats only the outside can leave the airway worse than they found it.
As an ENT & Head-Neck surgeon, Dr. Barışkan assesses the septum and internal valves alongside the shape, so breathing is corrected in the same operation rather than overlooked — function first, then form.
How Dr. Barışkan works
Every plan starts from your own measurements rather than a template. At consultation, the angles of your profile and the state of your airway are assessed together, and the plan is agreed with you — often before you travel.
Recovery is set out honestly, day by day, and follow-up continues through your first year. The aim is a result that looks natural in ordinary life and settles predictably, not a dramatic change that fades.
